Το Blog "Powerline" διοργάνωσε έναν διαγωνισμό με βραβείο 100.000 δολαρίων για οποιονδήποτε μπορέσει να παρουσιάσει με τον πιο αποτελεσματικό και δημιουργικό τρόπο την σημασία και το δράμα της οικονομικής κρίσης. Αυτό είναι το βίντεο που κέρδισε τον διαγωνισμό.
Το «Κουδούνι» είναι το βίντεο που κέρδισε τον διαγωνισμό και περιγράφει με τον πιο εύστοχο τρόπο την οικονομική κρίση. Μια κρίση όμως, που δεν είναι μόνο ελληνική, αλλά παγκόσμια… Σε 59 μόλις δευτερόλεπτα παρουσιάζεται αυτό ακριβώς που ζούμε, με ένα μικρό αλλά τόσο ουσιαστικό διάλογο.

Doorbell
“Doorbell” has to be considered the favorite for the People’s Choice Award. For those who may have missed it, we decided to add a final award to the Power Line Prize contest: $2,000 to our readers’ favorite non-prize winner, based on a reader poll. There are eight nominees for the People’s Choice Award, six of which have been posted over the last few days. Nominee number seven is “Doorbell.”
“Doorbell” was the first PL Prize entry to go viral. Created by Don Brookins, an amateur filmmaker in Colorado, it stars Don’s daughter and the granddaughter of a friend. The voice of the government man is Brookins himself. Something about “Doorbell” immediately struck a chord with those who saw it, and immediately it was bouncing around the country via email, as well as being posted on message boards and other web sites. So far, between Power Line and YouTube, “Doorbell” has been viewed more than 750,000 times. It will easily surpass 1,000,000 views and may make it to 2,000,000 or 3,000,000.
